About
Hi, I'm Megan
I spent 16 years working in event management and operations — first at a luxury hotel managing high-stakes conferences, award shows, and weddings, then for the last 8 years, in tech at a startup. The kind of work where every detail matters and nothing can go wrong.
I loved it. But I was ready to build something of my own. Something more aligned with who I actually am and what I value most.
Where This Started
I've been slowly transitioning to a non-toxic lifestyle for the last 15 years. It started small — swapping processed foods for whole ingredients, ditching conventional cleaning products — but as I became a mother to two young children, it became a full passion.
Now? Water filtration and remineralization. Zero artificial fragrance. Making my own laundry detergent, hand soaps, and all-purpose cleaners. Air purifiers in every room. Houseplants for extra filtration. I even had natural home births because I wanted full control over what my body and my babies were exposed to.
I inherited my love of cleaning and organizing from my mother, and my commitment to healthy living from my father — the only person I knew in the 90s drinking powdered greens.
Why I Started The Gentle Edit Co.
I wanted to take everything I've learned — the organizational systems from years of high-stakes event planning, the low-tox knowledge from 15 years of research and experimentation, the genuine care I have for creating healthier spaces — and turn it into something that helps other families.
This business lets me have a flexible schedule to spend more time with my kids while they're small. But honestly? It also lets me do work that feels authentic. I truly care about the homes I step into and the people I work with.
If you're ready to create a space that's calmer, healthier, and actually works for your life — I'd love to help.
